Anise hyssop has fragrant leaves with a sweet licorice flavor and tall spikes of lavender flowers that are attractive to beneficial insects and hummingbirds. The leaves make a tasty tea. Anise hyssop is a favorite plant for beekeepers because the flowers can flavor the bee's honey with anise. This American wildflower is a great addition to any flower or herb garden.
Anise hyssop is also called Agastache anisata, Blue Giant Hyssop, Licorice Mint and Lavender Mint. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant.

Sowing Agastache Seeds
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date. Barely cover the seeds with soil. Full sun.
