Basil 'Green Pepper' has leaves that taste like peppers! Grow Green Pepper in part shade as the leaves become tough when grown in full sun. It is much slower growing than Basil Ocimum basilicum. Keep seedlings on the drier side as they tend to get damping off disease. Green Pepper basil may be kept as a house plant in cool climates.
