Bean 'Succotash' is a small, dark bean that is reminiscent in shape and color to blue corn. It came from the Narragansett Indian tribe of Rhode Island and is used to make succotash, a dish containing sweet corn and beans. This heirloom bean enjoys warm summers.

 

Length 5–7 feet.

 

Sowing Pole Bean Seeds:
 
Sow beans outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date under a trellis. Sow 1 inch deep and 3 inches apart. Full sun.
