Cucumber 'Dragon Egg' has large, pearly white fruits with a mild flavor
Even at larger sizes they stay non-bitter. They are better for fresh eating than pickling. This Croatian heirloom is a fun edition to a child's garden, as they can imagine they are growing dragon eggs.
 
Sowing Cucumber Seeds: 
 
Sow seeds outdoors after the last frost date, 1/2 inch deep. Or start indoors 3 weeks before the last frost date. Sow in hills 4–6 feet apart or in rows 2 feet apart. Thin to 3 plants per hill. Full sun.
