Pepper 'Anaheim' are mild to medium-hot chili peppers at 500 to 1,000 units on the Scoville scale. This 1896 American heirloom grows large fruits at 5–8 inches with medium-thick walls. They are good for roasting or making chili. The fruits start green and ripen to red, getting spicier.

Sowing Peppers Seeds:
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/4 inch deep. Transplant the peppers 2 weeks after the last frost date or when there is no hint of frost. Space 15 inches apart. Full sun.
