Pepper 'Wisconsin Lakes' has lipstick red, sweet, 4-inch fruits. It is known for growing better than other bell peppers in northern climates. This 1954 American heirloom was developed at the University of Wisconsin.

 

Sowing Peppers Seeds:

 

Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/4 inch deep. Transplant the peppers 2 weeks after the last frost date or when there is no hint of frost. Space 15 inches apart. Full sun.
