Radish 'Watermelon' is rose red on the inside and pale green to white on the outside. This Chinese heirloom can grow from 2 to 4 inches. It is a good winter radish. It is also known as Rose Heart, Beauty Heart, and Chinese Red Meat radish. Bolts easily in spring. It is best planted in late summer after the weather starts to cool down.

Sow seeds outside in late summer or fall. Sow on the surface and barely cover the seeds. Keep consistently moist until germination. Thin to 4 inches apart. Full sun.
