It is decorative with thick orange flesh with deep ribs. This beautiful French heirloom is known as Rouge Vif d'Etampes in France. It was introduced to the United States by W. Atlee & Burpee in 1883 under the name Cinderella Pumpkin. Also known as Bright Red Etampes.
